Clinic March 24th, 2012 - - Better Horse --Better Rider, Better Rider--Better Horse. Learn to do things you never thought you or your horse could do!

Smart Start Stable is hosting a clinic Saturday March 24 starting at 9 a.m. The focus of the clinic is: What is the One Thing You are Afraid to Address with Your Horse? The one thing you think of as a Pandora's box that you don't even want to peek in? We can help you figure out how to deal with it and how to fix it. Or maybe it's something you can't figure out in your riding, the block that keeps you from progressing. We can help.

Horse won't stand while being mounted
Horse won't stand still
Horse doesn't lead well
Horse won't soften to the bit
Horse doesn't want to stop
Horse doesn't want to go
Horse doesn't want to bend or turn
Horse won't stand for the farrier
Horse doesn't half halt well
Fill in the blank __________________

We teach the horse and person from the horse's point of view. It's the horse's job to stand, to half halt, to shoulder in, etc. You need to understand horse language so you can ask your horse to do his job and he does it, not you! It's time you stop working so hard, begging your horse so to speak, and time for your horse to do the job!
The clinic is limited to 8 horses and will be tailored to each horse's needs.
